Reluctant Rebels

Gate Escape

After a bit of rest, Kleewa decides to show the PCs the secret of Trentwyth. She explains that she studied anthropology before joining the rebelling. She specialized in ancient insurrections and learned that the inhabitants of Trentwyth were the only successful insurgency against the ancient Infinite Empire. She discovered on this planet, an ancient machine that could terra-form part of the planet. The insurgents used this terra-forming to create hidden tunnels to ambush the Rakata.

Kleewa takes the PCs to the center of the southern continent deep underground. There they find an ancient terminal, a cairn, and a weird set of glyphs on the walls. Hurd finds that he can use the Force to manipulate the terminal and begin to terra-form the land around the Imperial Bridgehead and begins to repair the tunnels that were collapse by the Imperial Stormtroopers.

The terra-forming causes small earth quakes that stir up some of the cave dwelling critters to attack the PCs, but these are dealt with quickly. As the dust settles, the PCs determine that a stair way had been repaired by the terra-forming and they begin to climb up.

When they reach the surface, they discover themselves in an ancient Star Temple. They find murals depicting Rakattans as holy overlords of the local populace. Zeb determines the locals species as Nagai which were not known to ever be on this planet. In a large room stands an upright ring that makes Hurd feel cold with the Dark Side of the Force.

Searching further they discover a throne room with a long dead skeleton sitting on it. Behind the throne they find a key. The next room turns out to be a vault that the key opens. The vault is ransacked except for one lone pyramid the size of a large fist.

Hurd senses the pyramid with the Force and determines it is a holocron of an ancient Nagai force user named Dhorn. Dhorn explains that he led the insurrection’s strike team on the Star Temple to prevent the destruction of the Gate (the upright ring in the main hall).

Sin asks if the Gate can be re-opened to allow the rebels to travel through hyperspace or at least to a different part of the planet. Dhorn responds that in order to activate the Gate requires a Force user to manipulate. Hurd closes his three eyes and begins to concentrate on the Gate.

All in the great hall except Zed could feel themselves transported back in time to the last assault on the Star Temple. They can sense the attack led by Dhorn that entered the bottom level and quickly dispatched the terra-forming station there. They sense that it was trying to stop the terra-forming of the Nagai which had opened an attack vector on the Star Temple itself. Nagai forces were now converging on the upper levels. Dhorn ordered his disciples up the stairs to prevent the Rakattan from destroying the Gate once they realized they were lost.

Up the long winding stairs revealed the Rakattan guards killing prisoners and others evacuating the Gate. Still more were attaching explosives. Dhorn and his disciples stopped the destruction but were interrupted by a dark side Rakattan guard on a mounted feline. Dhorn told his disciples to hold off the dark sider while he re-configured the Gate to open to a new planet where the Nagai could be free from the Infinite Empire.

The disciples threw themselves at the dark sider and his troops. They wore down all the guards and dismounted the dark sider. Once the dark sider knew he was defeated, he pulled a Thermal Detonator from his belt and caused a huge explosion in the main hall.

Only one disciple survived. He cradled his dying master in his arms. Dhorn’s last act was to send his memory into a holocron which he gave to his last disciple. Dhorn’s last words were to pass on what the disciple had learned and to get the Nagai people through the portal to safety. Then Dhorn breathed his last.

The disciple looked at the gate his master had opened and could see the new planet through it. He used the force to keep it open while the entire Nagai species journeyed through to their new home. Afterwards, the disciple buried his master in a cairn. He then forsook the force and his master’s last wish. The last disciple left the holocron in the vault and closed before passing through to the other side to join his people.

After the vision, Hurd felt he understood the Gate enough to begin to power it. Hurd was not yet strong enough to open the Gate to a new planet. He was able to locate the hidden Rebel space ships located in a nearby asteroid field. Zeb cautiously passed through the Gate to a transport ship and started up the life support systems. Kleewa ordered the Rebel pilots through the Gate and eventually the Rebel troops.

Silently the Rebel ships navigated out of the asteroid field and set course for a Rendezvous point in another system. The Imperial forces blockading the planet were left guarding a planet empty of Rebels.

Medical Rescue

The PCs quickly plan a rescue of captured medical personnel being held at a beach head of the Southern continent of Trenwyth. They begin their approach underwater using their breath masks. On the way, Zeb breaks off from the others and begins to sabotage a turret to aid their escape. Zeb successfully disables the turrets ability to turn or swivel.

The others make their way to a floating platform with guards watching the prisoners. Swimming up to the ledge, they notice one of the guards sleeping and pull themselves up. They begin to assault the guards while Hurd assaults another turret.

The PCs easily overpower the guards but make enough noise to attract a dark cloaked figure in a nearby tent. As tug speaders approach the platform, Hurd jumps aboard to commandeer it while Sin snipes the cloaked figure once he starts to brandish an electro staff. A modified probe droid immediately gives medical aid to the dark side user. The dark cloaked figure uses the force to neutralize Sin and makes his way to the platform along with Stormtrooper reinforcements.

Chan draws the dark sider to him while Aaman helps Sin recover. Hurd uses the tug to start to push the platform to the rendezvous point. Zeb leaps up to catch the platform. Together the PCs combine their fire on the probe droid which self destructs and catches the dark sided figure in the explosion. They then sail the rescued prisoners to safety and scuttle the tug speader.

Going to Ground

After the PCs failure to defeat Rafe, they returned to Captain Kleewa and the Rebellion against the Empire. Kleewa feared Contingency Base was compromised and quickly abandoned it. She moved her outfit to the abandoned world of Trenwyth. The artificially terraformed planet provided ideal hiding places.

Unfortunately the Empire quickly found the rebel outfit and laid siege to the planet cutting the PCs and their rebel allies off from the rest of the Galaxy. The Rebels went to ground and used the artificial underground canyons to hide and harry the Imperial troops.

Despite their early success at ambushing, the most recent ambush didn’t work as planned. The PCs were in the middle of ambushing a column of stormtroopers when a pair of Scout Troopers on speeder bikes showed up to attack the ambushers. The PCs succeeded in bringing down the Scout Troopers and then learned of nearby Rebels troops having the same issue.

Lieutenant Sin ordered her troops to aid the Rebels and bring down another pair of Scout Troopers. The surviving Rebel snipers reported the Empire seemed to know they were attacking. The PCs received reports of the Rebel MASH unit being overrun and returned to Rebel base to help.

Captain Kleewa asked the PCs to go on a prisoner rescue to recover the captive doctors. They are currently being located in holding cells in the Empire’s beach head on the Southern continent where the Rebels were hiding.

Rafe's Revenge

The unconscious PCs and Zeb are taken to the lower decks of Dunari’s Rest to be thrown in the brig. Unfortunately the brig is full of patrons sleeping off various forms of intoxication. The semi-conscious patrons are taken out of their cells and unceremoniously dumped on the ground in front of the small cells to make room for the PCs. Each is placed in a small 3 meter by 3 meter cell.

Zeb on the other hand is inspected close enough to determine his restraining bolt is fake. A real restraining bolt is attached. As Zeb loses his free will, the others begin to wake. The guards part and very well dressed Chiss advances on the cell containing Chan Corvo.

“Once again Chan you have fallen into my little trap,” Rafe said menacingly. “You ought to stop doing that, it can be bad for your health.”

“What can I say, bad habits are hard to break,” replied Chan groggily.

“What’s going to happen to us?” asked Sin.

“Unfortunately for Chan here, I don’t need him anymore. You see I have a new spy to provide me with secrets. So I’ve decided to torture Chan to death and blame all my new insights into the location of rebel bases on his loose lips. Of course you will all have to die with him, but that’s just a side bonus for me. Killing Chan’s friends as he watches will bring me great joy.”

Rafe then turns to a guard and orders him to impound their ship and strip it of valuables. “Take the droid here to deactivate any security measures and share the spoils with the other guards.” Rafe orders.

“There’s no need for any of that,” says Hurd calmly. “I’m sure we can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement that doesn’t involve any bloodshed.”

Rafe laughs, “You know I have changed my mind. You’re a very smooth talker. I’m going to have you tortured before you’re killed as well. I can’t wait to see what smooth talk will come out of your mouth while my men torture you. It will be music to my ears.”

With that he turns and leaves. Most of the guards leave as well except for one sentry paying more attention to his monitor than to them. Hurd uses the Force to influence one of the patrons under the influence of Spice. He manages to clear the cobwebs enough to get him to start talking to Sin. Sin makes all sorts of promises to get him to deactivate the force field of her cell, none of which she plans to keep.

Once Sin is free, she stealthily moves to deactivate the other shields. The guard begins to notice but hesitates to alert the other guards. Hurd sees his hesitation and suggests via the Force that he should help them escape instead of working for Rafe. The guard agrees to help them and they use his monitor to get a view of the casino in order to plot their escape. They send the guard to the armory to retrieve their gear that could fit in a backpack. The other guards don’t pay any attention. They attempt to use their com-links to contact Zeb, but the restraining bolt is interfering with their communication attempts.

Zeb, under the influence of the restraining bolt, leads the casino guards to their ship and unlocks their security protocols. He watches helplessly as their credit chips are stolen and the rest of the non-liquid inventory is cataloged. Zeb finds himself with only one remaining guard dutifully typing into his datapad.

Around the corner, Zeb hears a beeping of another droid in binary. He turns and his scanners pick up Missy. Zeb communicates his situation silently with Missy and she agrees to help him. When Zeb and his guard are in the kitchen, Missy is on the counter with a hydrospanner. When the guard isn’t looking, Missy removes the restraining bolt and flees to a hiding place. Zeb then stealthily sabotages the commlink on the guards helmet when he’s not looking. Zeb then lures the guard to the hold and locks him.

Zeb re-opens communication with the others to learn they are about to attack a checkpoint of guards. He finds a dumb waiter near their location and sends them a backpack of their backup weapons. A well armed group is then able to quickly overpower the checkpoint without anyone noticing. They then reach the armory and retrieve all their weapons and gear. They then find an airlock and they are able to space walk to the VIP shuttle bay. Rafe’s shuttle is missing but they are able hijack a very expensive one anyway. They meet up with Zeb on their own ship and give the stolen yacht to their former guard as a reward.

The Haunting of Chan's Past

After missing his opportunity to capture D3-0D, Chan is determined to track him down for good. The fact that his rebel superior, Kleewa, has given him orders to silence the droid is merely a happy coincidence. Sin gives the orders to make for the nearest Imperial base of Eriadu. Once there, Zeb is able to slice the Imperial custom agency records to determine the Vaunted Maiden briefly entered Eriadu space but then just as quickly left.

Sin and the others are baffled as to the behavior. Chan finally comes clean about his past. He tells the others that he and another Chiss by the name of Rafe joined the rebellion together. They ended up in a deal that went bad with D3-0D and a Talz named Oort involving stolen Transponder codes. Chan is certain that the deal went bad due to Rafe’s betrayal and that D3-0D is likely trying to make is way to Rafe for protection. Find Rafe, then we find D3-0D.

“Where then can we find Rafe?” asked Aaman. Rafe’s last known location according to Chan was on Dunari’s Rest. They donned their miner disguises and set course for Dunari’s Rest.

The PCs begin to ask around the casino, looking for Rafe. Hurd manages to get a bartender to spill the beans about the new owners of the casino. Recently the ownership changed and Rafe was brought in to manage it for the new absentee owners. Rafe immediately changed the casino guards for more expensive mercenaries. Rumor has it these new guards are paid extremely well for a casino that caters more to middle class tourists than to high rollers. Rafe’s own personal yacht that sits in the VIP shuttle bay is known to be high priced. The staff is wondering where Rafe gets all his money as the casino isn’t all that profitable.

Many of the staff are unhappy with the new harsher management, especially since their pay hasn’t seen the increase like the guards. Lately there has been a new preparations being made for what many assume will be a high roller coming to Dunari’s Rest that they hope will lead to higher tips.

Zeb is able to slice his way into the Casino’s booking records and finds a droid with his own personal hotel room. Security footage shows D3-0D going in surrounded by body guards. The PCs quickly head towards the room in hopes of surprising the droid and his guards. They succeed beyond their dreams and manage to down all the guards in a manner that seems almost too easy.

As they begin to interrogate the astromech droid, suddenly the fire extinguishers activate. Except instead of spraying water, they begin to spray a noxious gas. The door to the room is knocked off its hinges and several stun grenades fall at the feet of Sin. The noxious gas turns out to be knockout gas and the grenades knock a coughing Sin unconscious. Aaman bellows and takes cover around a corner while Hurd advances and tries to block the door. One of the armed and armored assailants gets past Hurd wearing macro binoculars and a gas mask.

The leader of the group lobs one more stun grenade at Chan’s feet to knock him out. The assailants use their stun settings to bring down Hurd and Aaman. Zeb and D3-0D are immune to the stun and knockout gas. Nonetheless, Zeb is forced to surrender once the others succumb to unconsciousness.


Captain Kleewa is furious at the PCs for getting into a fight at the water bar of Besch. She is especially concerned that the YT-1000 ship carrying D3-0D is going to expose Contingency base to the Empire. She orders the PCs to follow D3 to prevent him from reporting them to the Empire.

She then dismisses them except for Sin. Kleewa informs Sin that she is receiving a battle field commission to the rank of Lieutenant. Sin thanks Kleewa and accepts her new officer’s bars. Kleewa then confides in Sin her concerns about Chan’s past. Kleewa feels that Chan knows too much Rebel Intelligence and Sin should do all in her power to prevent Chan from being taken prisoner and that may mean killing him first.

Sin begins to explore Contingency base looking for the other PCs who are now her subordinates. She breaks up a fight between a female Rebel Soldier named Jin and a would be paramour. After dressing down the male instigator, Sin learns that Jin is a member of the 32nd Sniper Infantry. Sin immediately sees a bit of herself in Jin and offers to watch out for Jin if necessary.

Chan and Zeb begin researching the YT-1000 ship that escaped them. They discover that the ship’s name is “Vaunted Maiden” and they weren’t the only ones looking for it. Someone else has accessed those records and beemed them offworld. They begin to suspect a spy in the base camp. Aaman lends his medical talents to the MASH tent at the request of Luquan. No one notices that Hurd is missing.

At Vek-Tor’s request, Hurd commandeer’s a speeder to investigate a meteor that hit Besch near Contingency base. Hurd gets the speeder as close as he can but the canyon becomes too narrow. Vek-Tor trudges on ahead by foot and Hurd reluctantly follows him. The narrow canyon suddenly opens up into a large crater about half a kilometer in diameter. The floor of the crator is filled with shards of Opila crystals. These Opila crystals are force sensitive and prevalent enough to create a temporary Force nexus that takes Hurd back to his days as a student of the Jedi before the dark times.

The vision he received shows his encounter with another student that Hurd believed he accidentally killed. Through the eyes of the other student, Hurd is able to see the student actually survived and his reasons for fleeing the Jedi order were not valid. He then saw through the eyes of dark jedi peering at his friends and family. Each Gran responded with no knowledge of the whereabouts of Hurd. Through reflected glass, he could make out the individual doing the questioning was a bald human but not much else. The human concluded that since he couldn’t find Hurd to take with him, he would take all of Hurd’s family with him instead.

The vision ended and Hurd suddenly found Vek-Tor standing before him. Vek-Tor told Hurd that although Kleewa was hoping he would stay and help the Rebellion, Vek-Tor felt the need to finish the last order the Jedi Council gave to him and his master 20 years ago. Vek-Tor was ordered to liberate a sector in the Outer Rim (which sector he wouldn’t say). While the Tyrant had changed, the tyranny remained. Until that sector was liberated, he would not be joining the rebellion. Vek-Tor then asked Hurd to join him as an apprentice.

Hurd thought long and hard about the choice, but he ultimately declined to join Vek-Tor. Hurd was even more committed to finding his family. Vek-Tor was disappointed but understood. He told Hurd of being betrayed by a Trandoshan ally that had stolen his lightsaber. He then admitted that the lightsaber he had been carrying was a training lightsaber and offered it to Hurd. Vek-Tor then retrieved a shard of Opila crystal to forge a new lightsaber. Hurd also retrieved a shard of Opila in case he ever decided to construct his own lightsaber.

They then returned to base camp where Two Why had the stolen ship ready to launch. Hurd watched mournfully as Vek-Tor walked up the gangplank and out of his life. Before the gangplank rose, Vek-Tor made Hurd one last offer, “If you change your mind or if circumstances change, use the Force to seek me out. My offer still stands to you.”

Triton Triage

The PCs arrive on the third moon of Triton, Besch. After entering the spaceport, they are approached by a hooded figure. The figure lowers his hood to reveal a insectoid creature with a datapad. The PCs offer a “tithe” to Gactimus and are left alone. They discover the spaceport bar only serves water and the colony of Besch is devoid of anything remotely considered “fun”.

Fortunately, Chief Tekku spots them and escorts them to Contingency base in the remote regions of Besch. The climate of Besch isn’t conducive to human breathing on most of the moon due to the low amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere. However, the chasms and valleys provide enough oxygen which is much denser than the other gases in the atmosphere. Many a smuggler has used the various pockets of breathable atmosphere to conduct illicit business. Now the Rebel Alliance has created a temporary makeshift base in a large chasm and named it Contingency. The PCs arrive to see their ship and several shuttles ringing a bustling base with a working MASH unit and field hospital.

Vek-Tor is helped to a hospital with a bacta tank and the PCs are sent to Kleewa’s field tent for a debriefing. The PCs relate their tale of rescue. Kleewa then shares what information she has on the Battle of Hoth and its aftermath. Contingency base was created to harry the supplies of the Empire in order to help the Rebel Army escape to their new hidden base. However, the number of casualties has been so high, the base has also taken on the task of MASH hospital. She thanks the PCs for their help and asks them to get a good night’s rest. They will have a new mission in the morning and R&R will be hard to come by.

Aaman decides to explore the base to see if his medical expertise are needed. The Ithorian runs into an old human friend from Basic training named Luquan. While Luquan and Aaman catch up, Luquan mentions a rumor of a spy selling secrets to a Chiss.

Chan and Sin wander around and overhear a rumor of new transponder codes being purchased for upcoming missions. Chan’s ears perk up when he learns the stolen transponder codes will be purchased from a Talz. He learns that Chief Tekku is tasked with buying them. He volunteers the PCs as guards for the transaction.

The PCs travel to the spaceport and take a booth and the water bar. Once the Talz and his two bodyguards walk in, Chan confronts the brute and calls him by his name, Oort. Oort draws back his all weather cloak and reveals a Wookie bowcaster. Chan asks where D3 is now. Oort replies that the droid is on his ship. Chan demands the droid and Oort refuses resulting in a blaster fight.

Tables are overturned and blasters light up the quiet water bar. Chan manages to score a headshot with his disruptor pistol killing Oort instantly. Oort’s body guards flee to their ship. Chan chases them and sees D3 up the gangplank. He shoots at the droid but misses and cries out in despair as the YT-1000 carrying the droid lifts off. Sin adds a donation to the nearby Gactimus shrine and tells the insectoid water bartender, “Sorry for the mess”.

Frozen Asset Exit

The PCs settled in for a relaxing hyperdrive trip to Triton. They began exploring their new hijacked ship when suddenly the ship dropped out of hyperspace. Sin ran quickly to the cockpit to see an Imperial Assault ship with bulbous interdicting pods filling the screen. Klaxons sounded as blaster bolts from nearby strafing Tie Fighters began to hit the ship.

Sin raised the alarm and the shields and quickly began evasive maneuvers. Chan entered the laser turret and returned fire scoring quick hits and bringing down the Ties as fast as they began to engage the PCs. Sin plotted a course around the interdictor ship only to realize it took them through an asteroid field. The charts labeled the system as Colu and the field the remnants of a dead planet. She powered through the field and around the asteroids trusting that Zeb could keep the ship together.

Once through the asteroid field Chan finishes off the few Tie Fighters that survive the asteroid field. Shortly after clearing the asteroid field, they clear the interdiction field too. Then Aaman and Missy calculate the jump to hyperspace and finish their trip to Triton.

Frozen Asset

The PCs are getting acclimated to life as undercover rebels and learning their fake trade as miners for the Issham Mining Corporation. In the middle of their training, they are quickly summoned to a briefing room for an urgent mission. Kleewa tells them that the Empire has acquired a Rebel asset that is vital to the Rebellion’s long term survival. The asset has been taken to the nearby system of Eriadu by a Imperial Nebulon-B frigate, Foundation.

A droid working as a rebel spy has sabotaged Foundation, and it is seeking repairs at the dry docks on Eriadu. The PCs will pose as dry dock workers in order to infiltrate the ship and retrieve the asset. They are to use their own discretion in order to hijack a ship. They are to then meet up for extraction on the third moon of Triton. The PCs also learn that they were not the first choice for this mission. The Rebel army is fighting for its life and can’t spare any resources.

After retrieving their cover identities from Chief Tekku and booking a commercial transport to Eriadu, they arrive in system. Each Eriadu dry dock is a floating city in space shaped like a horse shoe. The two ends attach to the capital ship while the rounded portion contains a Transparisteel “roof” that showed forests. They PCs debark after landing on the side of the horseshoe half way up the side.

Once inside they navigate a bureaucracy openly hostile to non-human species. Since Sin is human, she takes on the role as supervisor while Hurd attempts to influence the Imperial bureaucrats with the force. Once through customs, the PCs learn that the inside of Eriadu is structured like a tiered city. The upper classes are closer to the forested area at the top of the horse shoe, while the lower classes were near the bottom of the two ends of the horseshoe closest to the dry docks themselves.

As they approach the dry docks, the other citizens begin to look pretty seedy. A member of a skinhead swoop gang catcalls Sin and his friends make xenophobic remarks at Hurd, Chan, and Aaman. After getting too close to Sin, her friends decide they have had enough and pull their hidden hold out blasters to defend her honor. Sin then shows them that she can take care of herself and drops the nearest one with a swift kick to the groin. More skinheads show up but they are swiftly blasted before the PCs run for cover.

The PCs successfully infiltrate the dock worker’s contract negotiations. They manage to slice into the contracting system to insert a fake issue near the brig. They then under bid the other contractors and get a pass to enter Foundation. Upon entry they are forced to the side as an important Imperial officer passes by. They learn the officer is Moff Shar Bopa and finally get a look at their infamous nemesis.

Zeb slices into the Foundation’s computer systems and locates an area a few decks below the brig that is using an inordinate amount of energy. They head to the level to find armed guards outside the room in question. They make a show of investigating issues in the air ducts above the room. Hurd volunteers to head down the ducts towards the secure room. Once there he finds a figure in cased in carbonite hovering on repulsorlifts.

At that moment, Moff Bopa and another Imperial officer arrive on the level by exiting a near by lift. The PCs overhear Bopa and the captain of the ship Offal talk about the security of the asset. They enter the secure room not knowing that Hurd is directly above them. Bopa orders the guard doubled and the asset transferred to his Star Destroyer. Since Foundation is too small to dock with the Moff’s personal shuttle, Bopa has commandeered a BR-23 courier from the local garrison that is just small enough to fit in the hangar bay.

After leaving the secure room, Moff Bopa orders all dock workers off the Foundation until the asset is transferred and specifically mentions the non-human PCs. As the PCs minus Hurd are escorted to the lift by a storm trooper, Hurd climbs down and approaches the frozen figure. As he begins to thaw the frozen figure he sees a droid approaching after dropping down from a different duct. The droid watches the thawing figure and mentions to Hurd that he was going to do that.

The others are crowded in a lift with a lone stormtrooper when Sin draws her hidden hold out blaster and tries to gun down the guard. The others join and after a brief fight, manage to win. Zeb then slices the lift to take them down to the asset’s level again. Zeb then configures the lift to not arrive at that level again.

Chan then dons the stormtrooper armor and pretends to escort the PCs back. The stormtroopers guarding the room ask what’s going on. Chan replies that one of the workers is missing. As he approaches them, one of the other guards decides to check the secure room and another begins to check the duct. Chan then rolls a frag grenade at the guards near the door.

Hurd shakes the figure awake. He’s a Zabrak and is holding a lightsaber. He is also covered in burns and injuries. The droid introduces himself as Twowhy and consoles the Zabrak and calls him “father” to the wonderment of Hurd. Hurd tries to contact his allies, but hears only blaster fire. He decides to re-position the repulsor lifts to create cover from the door. The Zabrak begins to meditate in a healing trance. Once the door opens and a frag goes off, Hurd jumps to the defense of the meditating figure. The droid behind him leaps to the ceiling and re-enters the duct.

As the fight continues, the PCs can see the lights of the lift pass them by as a Zeb’s re-programming works. Re-reinforcements for the stormtroopers pass harmlessly by to the next level. One of the stormtrooper manages to make it to the lift. As he gets there, the doors open and Twowhy ambushes him. The others finished off with alarms blaring. The PCs retrieve their hidden weapons in their tool trunk they were using as a disguise.

After the fight, the Zabrak thanks the PCs for their help. He introduces himself as Vek-Tor but he remains tight lipped on other details. The PCs have no time to ask him questions and begin to use the ducts to climb the levels of the aft portion of the Foundation. Twowhy tells the PCs he has to rescue a droid named “Missy” who has been helping him sabotage the ship. Twowhy promised Missy he would take her with him when he left. The PCs divert to the engineering deck and make their way towards the hyperspace drive.

From the air ducts, Twowhy points to an MSE-6 repair droid. Twowhy manages to attract Missy’s attention while the other PCs distract the human workers. This allows Missy to leave the room and get picked up by the others. They then make for the Aft hangar bay to attempt to steal the courier ship.

When they arrive at the hangar bay, they can see it swarming with workers up in the gang planks where the TIE fighters are stored. Stormtroopers are patrolling the area. Zeb tries to plant a fake error in the ship’s system that would sound the alarm of a decompression in the hangar bay. Unfortunately, he caused a real issue and the hangar bay force field begins to lose its structural integrity. The guards and workers scurry out of the hangar bay while the PCs try to shoot their way in.

Vek-Tor is still extremely injured and needs the aid of Twowhy and Zeb to move quickly. Chan gets caught too far back and Hurd tries to valiantly guard the blast doors so that Chan can get through. The blaster fire becomes too intense and Hurd falls while Chan gets into the hangar bay. Aaman makes it to the Courier ship and begins to warm up the engines. Vek-Tor stops and begins to use the force to pick up the unconscious body of Hurd and brings him through the blast doors just before they close. Chan picks up his body and begins to pull him towards the ship.

The vacuum of space begins to pull objects and the PCs out of the hangar bay. With a heroic feat of strength Chan gets a hold of the piston of the Courier’s landing platform and holds on for dear life. Twowhy and Zeb enter the platform dragging Vek-Tor and clamp on as well. The petite Sin loses her footing and begins to fly towards the vacuum of space. Once again Vek-Tor reaches out with the force to pull Sin back on the platform in time for it to close with everyone on board.

Aaman brings the engines to life and does what he can to prevent the ship from being ejected from the Foundation. Sin rushes to the cockpit to relieve him so that Aaman can tend to the wounded Hurd. Sin deftly maneuvers the Courier out of the hangar bay and avoids the large dry dock still attached to the Foundation. The PCs notice a Star Destroyer in the system and Sin pilots the Courier to put the dry dock in between. Tie Fighters begin to engage the courier but Chan mans the gunnery turret and blasts one to pieces while Zeb calculates the jump to Triton. Sin finishes orbiting the dry docks and punches it to allow the ship to escape.

Lost Heist Found

Chan Corvo uses his Underworld contacts to find a buyer for the Missing Treasure of Coruscant the PCs recovered from the Vault. Chan finds an old Chiss acquaintance name Swigg. They agree to meet at Dunari’s Rest a casino in the Mayagil Sector.

Prior to the meeting, the PCs arrive and unload the stolen art into a warehouse near their docking bay. Zeb notices boot prints, likely stormtrooper boot prints, in the otherwise empty warehouse. The PCs decide to continue to move the art in over Hurd’s objections. They are suspicious enough to look around the casino for danger signs.

The PCs walk to the bar to ask around. Seated at the bar is Kleewa, the rebel Bothan spy. She says she’s waiting for a friend but is more than willing to swap information with the PCs. She is concerned about the potential for Stormtroopers and agrees to look into it for the PCs. Just then someone in a mining uniform for the Issham Mining Corporation walks. Kleewa excuses herself and joins the miner at a private booth.

They continue to the conference room to meet Swigg, passing by the Sabacc tables and gambling machines in the casino. Swigg and his retinue include a droid, two Human’s and two Weequay. Swigg presents a briefcase full of Imperial Credits as proof of payment. The PCs then give him the key to the warehouse of stolen art. They then wait while the droid and one of the humans named Mang verify the contents of the warehouse. The droid projects what he sees to the conference room holo projector.

Once the holo projector shows the stolen art, Swigg hands over the briefcase. No sooner had Chan grabbed it then the entire station shuddered and the feed went out. Everyone in the conference room was knocked off their feet. Swigg immediately accused the PCs of betraying them. They were able to convince him of their innocence when the lights in the casino went out followed by low light backups coming on. Everyone fled the conference room to the casino floor.

Outside in the casino, bedlam is everyone. Casino patrons are scrambling to grab loose chips on the ground. Chip/credit exchange desks have force fields enabled sheltering them from the chaos. The PCs separate from Swigg and his crew to make their way to their ship.

When the PCs get to the entrance to the long corridor that leads from the casino to the docking bay where the PCs left their ship, they see two columns of Imperial special forces making their way in the darkness towards them. The PCs begin firing on the Imperials but fail to stop them. The Imperials converge on Chan forcing him to surrender. One of the Imperials cries out, “Wrong Chiss” before leading the others deeper into the casino.

Hurd continues to fight the Imperials before he is knocked unconscious. The other PCs drop their weapons. The Imperials then pass them by and begin firing on Swigg who they kill. While the Imperials are distracted, the PCs beat a hasty retreat to their ship.

During their launch, Sin looks out the viewport at a modified Imperial shuttle with a tractor beam hovering over the outside of the warehouse with the stolen art. A large hole in the warehouse created a vacuum and jettisoned the art into space which the shuttle was pulling into its cargo bay.

As the PCs took off from the docking bay, the shuttle turned on the PCs to prevent their escape. Sin punched it and Zeb began to calculate a jump to hyperspace. He remembered the Issham Mining Corporation was located in the Virmeude system and plotted a course there. Sin was able to escape the shuttle and the PCs arrived on Virmeude safely. They were greeted by Kleewa who agreed to help them join the Rebellion (those that weren’t already rebels).
